Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro, commonly known as San Lorenzo de Almagro or simply San Lorenzo, is an Argentine club in the Boedo district of Buenos Aires.San Lorenzo plays its home games at Estadio Pedro Bidegain, popularly known as Nuevo Gasómetro. San Lorenzo is also considered one of the ‘Big five” (“Los 5 Grandes”) of Argentine football
Interesting fact: Pope Francis is a big supporter of San Lorenzo, so when he was elected, the players wore a Tshirt with his picture on it.
Did you know? The Club name comes from a local priest called Lorenzo. He let kids use the church backyard to play football in exchange of attending Sunday mass. He wasn’t a saint so he was reluctant to accept the honour to begin with.
Care Instructions for the Mate:
- No curado (No pre treatment) needed, ready to use.
- Wash them regularly with a non abrasive sponge.
- Alpaca tends to get a bit darker with use but it is nothing to worry about! If you want a bit of shine back, polish it with a dry cloth.
