A little about Bacanas & how the business started.
Growing up in Argentina offered more than lovely sunshine, it was full of culture and flavor too? Dinner time was always an event to look forward to, the preparation and care taken to create food went on throughout the day, it was always so much more than just a meal.
Growing up in Argentina, I remember helping my grandmother and mother in the kitchen. It was so much fun and the food was always fresh and vibrant with taste. It seemed quite normal to create food and prepare recipes in that way. It wasn’t obvious to me at the time that we were making a dish that was going to be so delicious and full of flavor, because this was how we cooked on a daily basis.
We would sit down at the table, in the evenings, and the whole family would enjoy all the lovely prepared dishes with a glass of red or white wine to compliment, It was a tradition, & just perfect.
Our recipes have been handed down from generation to generation, our family history can be traced as far back as Italy, so it’s no wonder that our cuisine is fused with taste & tradition.
Today Bacanas products are prepared in the same traditional way, with the same authentic recipes, and just as before, our quality foods are prepared with love and passion too, the way it always used to be….
Bacanas was initially as a family run business, and over the years we’ve evolved, providing our products to retail, and clients who book our catering services. The one thing that has not changed is the Bacanas authentic recipes, all prepared in the traditional way.
