Hola!! I am Betsabe an Argentinian mum living in Tring, Hertfordshire and the beating heart behind Bacanas.

Growing up in Rosario, food was never just food. It was all about the flavour and ingredients mixed with family and laughs alongside long Sunday Asados (BBQ) and of course, Chimichurri was always on the table.

When I moved to the UK over 20 years ago…i couldn’t find a Chimichurri that tasted like home and specially one that was made just with the purest ingredients, with no additives or extras, as since becoming a mum every element it the plate become a priority.

Thats how Bacanas was born.

Our artisan Chimichurri its carefully thought following the traditional recipes but elevating the flavour by using the best nature has to offer, from Sea salt from Patagonia to Garlic from the Isle of Wight. Zero compromise.

Bacanas isn’t just a sauce, it’s about bringing people together, our “amigos”, around great food. Our sauce its bold, unapologetic and a cut above the rest.
